Job Description
- Oversee the accounting function, manage the finance team and ensure delivery of all financial reporting requirements for the business
- Implement, improve and maintain internal controls as well as financial systems and processes
- Produce financial statements and reporting for the group
- Coordinate internal audit and review
- Monitor business performance
- Monitor and manage cash flows regularly
- Monitor foreign currency exposure and manage foreign currency risk
- Insurance and risk management
- Ensure that the regulatory requirements and compliance of all statutory bodies are met
- Payroll management
- Cost and expense analysis and control
Requirements:
- Minimum of a BComm Accounting or similar degree
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Financial Manager role in Africa
- Experience working in Africa is non-negotiable
- This is a permanent position, based in Angola
