Job Description

An established wealth management company, specializing in funding and investments is seeking the expertise of a Credit Analyst to join their investment team. Responsible for analyzing unlisted businesses, preparing loan submissions and related agreements.

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
• Prepare documentation and analysis, financial forecast models and Investment memo's
• Establish and ensure company procedures meet conditions for the provisions, special loan conditions for clients
• Prepare and conclude loan agreements and further documentation
• Monitor loan agreement compliance and credit exposure
• Communicate with other staff on matters relating to existing and new loans

Requirements: 

• Minimum of CA(SA) / CFA or equivalent tertiary qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the credit and risk industry, corporate finance preferred, alternatively the role can be suited to Newly Qualified CA’s who have Financial Services experience during their articles
• Must have a passion for lending, markets and uplifting smaller companies
• Highly analytical and attention to detail
• Excellent understanding of different industries
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team 
• Self-motivated, professional, dynamic and passionately results driven
