An established wine estate in the Paarl region, is seeking the assistance of an Accountant. In this role you will report to the Senior Accountant, be responsible for preparing and finalising monthly sales and budgets. You will support the Senior Accountant with various other tasks and assist the Financial Manager with developing financial and management reports. Responsibilities: 

• Input information into prepared templates for Management accounts
• Update and audit budget schedules monthly 
• Reconcile balances to accounting systems
• Ensure subledger/external data balance to TB and management reports
• Prepare yearly audit for all entities 
• Assist auditors with audit, ensure all queries are handled efficiently
• Pre monthly review and journal entries 
• Reconcile all CDS sales slips on automated system 
• Reconcile restaurant bulk invoices from pilot 
• Balance restaurant payments received, resolve any differences 
• Receive and reconcile monthly member payments 
• Manage bulk invoices
• Review and post credit notes
• Run month end procedures
• Follow up on outstanding debtors
• Prepare weekly debtors reports
