Job Description

I have a super exciting position to share with you. The role is a Junior Financial Manager. You would need to hold an honours degree and have completed SAICA Articles. You would need to be highly analytical with meticulous attention to detail. Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing general accounting functions, from journal preparations to system implementations.

Responsibilities:

• Summarize Monthly journeys by collecting information
• Prepare balance sheets and any other reports by month end 
• Prepare and manage reconciliations to ensure all stores are processing stock received
• Mange the passing of journals on any difference on the IOT accounts
• Compile and analyse the cashbooks and reconciling financial discrepancies
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation with the required bank and releasing payments and transfers on scheduled time.
• Secure financial information with Nedbank, Standard bank and MTL, substantiating financial transaction by auditing documents
• Support the head of department with audit related tasks/queries
• Support the head of department with system development, testing and implementation

Requirements:

• SAICA articled
• BCom Accounting Honours 
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel
• Experience and knowledge with Pastel Evolution
