Opportunity for an experienced Payroll & Reporting Analyst, in this role you play a key role in managing all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring accurate reporting and timely payments. Responsibilities: 

  • Manage all aspects of the payroll process, ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Review all aspects of payroll and reporting 
  • Liaise with Payroll Administrator, Talent, and Finance teams to maintain accurate employee data, ensure all payroll related processes and records are updated and reconciled monthly 
  • Monthly reconciliation between payroll records and finance accounting records
  • Produce a monthly analysis of payroll movements for management accounts
  • Manage payroll records, reports, and documents for auditing and legal purposes, Main liaison for payroll audit
  • Responsible for workmen’s compensation regulatory requirements
  • Ensure strong internal controls related to payroll and reporting
  • Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations, assess the impact on company's payroll practices and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance
  • Produce accurate and high quality monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports on various employee data,
  • Manage all relevant vendor relationships, Medical Aid, Group risk Benefits, ensure efficient service delivery
  • Assist with annual salary review preparation process and ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Postgraduate Accounting degree, CA (SA) / CIMA preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a related role, with previous experience in Payroll and HRIS systems and employee reporting
  • Previous exposure to SAGE People, Acumatica advantageous
  • Solid understanding of payroll systems and processes as well as accounting principles
  • Systems orientated, keen interest in automation and digitization of Payroll and HR Reporting environment
  • High levels of integrity and discretion

  • Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail
