We’re looking for an Assistant Accountant (12 Month FTC) to join a dynamic finance team and play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Capture supplier invoices, ensuring correct postings by product, region, platform, and bran
  • Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve any queries
  • Prepare bi-weekly payment runs to ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time
  • Match invoices and payments in Navision/Business Central
  • Create new vendor records and verify banking details for changes or new vendors
  • Generate weekly vendor open items reports with commentary on outstanding balances
  • Bill transaction volumes and related fees to relevant entities, ensuring accurate postings
  • Ensure timely receipt of funds from customers and match payments in Navision
  • Record and reconcile all intangible, fixed, and domain asset transactions
  • Run monthly amortisation and depreciation, reconciling asset registers to the general ledger
  • Prepare reconciliations and variance commentary for income statement and balance sheet item
  • Assist with quarterly and annual audit file preparation and SOX compliance documentation
  • Draft process notes, archive financial data, and support process testing and general administration

What You’ll Bring:

  • Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in an accounting role, preferably with exposure to Accounts Payable and reconciliations
  • Experience in fixed/intangible asset management is advantageous
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision or Business Central is a plus
