Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant & Analyst Assistant to support the operations of a dynamic family office. This is a very flexible working environment and will someone who thrives on variety, values autonomy, and brings both structure and initiative to the table.

What’s the role all about?

You’ll be the financial and administrative anchor across several entities, working on everything from bookkeeping and audit prep to investor reporting and supplier coordination. It’s a hands-on, evolving role, that is ideal for someone who enjoys owning processes, solving problems, and making things run smoother.

What you will be doing:

  • Handle full-function bookkeeping, including reconciliations, journal entries, ledger maintenance and monthly closings.
  • Capture and categorise transactions across multiple entities using cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Interact with the international office to share data and respond to information requests for global reporting and group-wide updates
  • Coordinate audits and collate financial data for investor and internal reports.
  • Assist in preparing half-yearly investor packs including financial summaries, commentary, and asset performance updates
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and assist with VAT, tax submissions, and compliance checks.
  • Engage with service providers and consultants to manage invoices and contracts.
  • Monitor contractual obligations, assist in onboarding, and manage relationships with external specialists (e.g., accountants, lawyers, contractors).
  • Support general administration, meeting coordination, and document organisation.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping and financial admin, ideally across multiple entities or in a family office.
  • Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, or similar cloud-based accounting tools.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills. You take initiative and get things done.
  • Comfortable managing audits, liaising with stakeholders, and preparing investor packs.
