We’re looking for a highly skilled Financial Accountant to take charge of full-function accounting up to balance sheet level in a fast-paced, product-driven business. If you thrive on accuracy, excel under pressure, and have forex and costing experience, this could be your next move.

What the role is all about

You’ll be responsible for delivering accurate financial data, managing compliance tasks, and supporting reporting, budgeting, and tax activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting functions up to balance sheet, including the Fixed Asset Register
• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance reports
• Support annual budgeting and cashflow forecasting
• Handle foreign creditors, exchange control applications, and forex transactions
• Ensure VAT, income tax, and Companies Act compliance
• Oversee supplier invoicing, reconciliations, and payments
• Manage payroll processes and statutory submissions
• Support the annual audit and enforce internal financial controls

What we’re looking for:

• BCom degree or equivalent
• 5–10 years’ experience in financial accounting
• Advanced Excel skills and deep experience in costing and reconciliations
• Proficiency in SAGE Partner and SAGE VIP Premier (essential)
• Demonstrated experience with forex and exchange control processes
• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
