What you will be doing: 

• Manage the full accounting function up to trial balance
• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Complete VAT, PAYE and other statutory submissions
• Assist with year‑end audits and liaise with auditors
• Maintain and review financial controls and processes
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger oversight
• Support operational teams with financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation

What we are looking for: 

• BCom Accounting / Financial Management (or similar)
• Completed or studying SAIPA / SAICA articles (advantageous)
• 2–5 years accounting and/or audit experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance
• Experience with accounting software (Pastel, Sage or similar)
• Strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
