A market-leading global employer is looking for a commercially minded analyst to own and evolve how sales incentives work in a complex, high-volume business. 

Purpose of the Role

As a Sales Incentives Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting sales and commercial performance. By designing, administering, and continuously improving incentive and commission plans, you will help align sales behaviors with business strategy. Your work will directly contribute to driving net revenue growth, enhancing sales performance, and ensuring accurate and timely incentive payouts.

What You Will Be Doing

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for:

Incentives, Commissions, and Campaigns

  • Design, maintain, and administer incentive and commission plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly payouts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage exceptions and disputes, investigate root causes, and document resolutions.
  • Create dashboards for sales leaders and executives to track performance.
  • Maintain and update incentive policy documents with proper audit trails and version control.

Analytics and Performance Insight

  • Enhance and maintain sales performance reporting, including productivity and cost of acquisition.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and risks, such as overpayment or quota setting issues.
  • Support forecasting and scenario modeling for plan changes and pricing adjustments.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support sales leadership decisions.

Plan Design and Continuous Improvement

  • Support the design and rollout of annual and quarterly incentive plans.
  • Recommend improvements to drive desired sales behaviors, such as customer acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops, RevOps, and Marketing teams to improve lead-to-sales conversion transparency.
  • Automate and simplify calculation and reporting processes.

Governance and Collaboration

  • Partner with Finance and Payroll to ensure compliance with tax, payroll timing, and budgeting requirements.
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership, HR, and Legal to update policies and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for plan documents, rules, and payout history.

What They're Looking For

  • A degree in finance, commerce, accounting, economics, statistics, data analytics, business, or a related field.
  • 5-6+ years of experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in managing incentive or commission schemes.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills, along with proficiency in SQL, Databricks, and payroll systems.
  • Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
