About the role:

As the Management Accountant, you’ll sit at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy. Your work will transform manufacturing and financial data into meaningful insights that guide decision-making across the business. From costing and contribution analysis to forecasting and international performance reporting, this role offers strong exposure to both operational and strategic finance.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly divisional management accounts with clear financial commentary
• Analyse variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple departments
• Conduct contribution margin and cost analysis across products, customers, and regions
• Support financial performance analysis of international distribution entities
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide data-driven insights

What we're looking for:

• CA(SA) or CIMA (completed) (or equivalent international qualification)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in management accounting, ideally in manufacturing
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, costing, and variance analysis
• Exposure to ERP systems (Syspro, MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar)
• Advanced Excel and strong financial analysis skills
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
