What you will be doing: 

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly financial statements in line with IFRS/GAAP
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, and other tax regulations

General Ledger & Reconciliations

  • Oversee general ledger accuracy and timely postings
  • Perform bank, account, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor performance against budget and prepare variance analysis

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable to optimise working capital
  • Ensure timely processing of payments and collections

Financial Systems & Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and controls
  • Promote best‑practice financial management and reporting methods

What we are looking for: 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • ACCA/CPA certification preferred
  • 3–5 years’ experience in financial accounting

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and tax legislation
  • Proficient in accounting software (Sage Evolution advantageous)
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving ability
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
