What’s the role about?
This is more than a traditional finance role. You’ll act as a true business partner - bringing structure, insight, and commercial thinking to support decision-making across the organisation. You’ll lead a capable team while staying close to the detail, helping the business scale effectively.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a multi-functional finance team
• Deliver accurate, timely reporting and meaningful business insights
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
• Strengthen internal controls and optimise financial processes
• Partner with operational teams to improve performance and profitability
• Oversee compliance, audit processes, and financial systems

What we’re looking for:

• CA(SA) with 2 years PQE OR CIMA / SAIPA / Honours qualified with 5 years experience
• Strong commercial acumen with a hands-on mindset
• Proven leadership experience in a finance environment
• Ability to navigate complex team dynamics with confidence and empathy
• Decisive, principled, and grounded in your approach
• Experience in manufacturing or a product-based environment is advantageous
