Summer hits, demand triples, production runs flat out across every branch, and somebody has to make sense of it all in real time. That somebody is you. This is a manufacturing business with real product, real seasonality, and real margin pressure, and the finance seat here isn't decorative. It's the control room.

Your domain:

• A seat at the management table, shaping growth and efficiency decisions instead of just documenting them afterward
• Consolidated management accounts across every branch and division, told in a way people actually understand: income statements, balance sheets, commentary that lands
• Budgets and forecasts built hand in hand with Sales and Production, so the numbers match what's actually happening on the factory floor
• KPIs and a Balanced Scorecard that you design, not just administer
• The annual audit, plus costing, capital planning, and working capital calls that influence real investment decisions
• Full statutory and tax compliance, handled so cleanly nobody downstream ever has to think about it
• A team of junior accountants who get better because you're the one developing them

You, if this is you:

• Someone who reads a variance and immediately asks why, not just what
• Someone who'd rather build a better process than repeat an old one
• Someone equally at home elbow deep in a reconciliation and presenting to Directors
• Someone who wants to grow people, not just manage them

Non negotiables:

• A relevant accounting degree plus a completed SAIPA qualification
• 5+ years in a full finance function since qualifying
• Genuine, demonstrable experience preparing and analysing management accounts
• Multi entity accounting exposure
• Experience supervising junior accountants
• A real curiosity about how things are actually made This industry rewards people who care about the product, not just the P&L
