What the Role Is About

We're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to take ownership of core finance functions, ensuring accurate financial records, smooth transaction processing, and effective support across the finance department. This role offers a varied workload with exposure to creditors, debtors, cash flow management, reconciliation's, VAT, and general ledger activities. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage creditors, including invoice processing, reconciliation's, payment allocations, and supplier communication.
• Perform daily bank reconciliation's and prepare payments for approval.
• Follow up on outstanding debtor payments, resolve account queries, and issue statements and invoices.
• Assist with cash flow reporting and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records, journals, and monthly schedules.
• Support VAT calculations, asset management, stock-related transactions, and digital document management.

What We're Looking For

• Previous bookkeeping experience in a busy finance environment.
• Strong understanding of creditors, debtors, reconciliation's, journals and cash flow processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
