My client, a global leader in the Entertainment sector, with Head Offices in both New York and London have opened offices in Cape Town. CA Financial Appointments have been given the exclusive mandate to assist them in attracting and recruiting Client Business Managers to work closely with their international teams and their internationally recognised clients in the Entertainment sector.  They will be looking to staff their CPT offices with multiple recently qualified CIMA/SAIPA and B.Com (Hons) qualified professionals. Having recruited a number of their first SA team members last year, we now know precisely what they're looking for. This should be seen as perhaps the most exciting career opportunity for any well spoken, ambitious, and driven recently qualified finance professionals wanting to gain experience in the international arena, working closely with the best of the best. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Setting up payments for the clients 
• Posting purchase invoices for the clients suppliers 
• Raising sales invoices for the clients customers 
• Reconciling agency statements
• Reconciling clients bank account on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis 
• Preparing and filing quarterly VAT returns for the clients on Sage 
• Entering journals on Sage 
• Reconciling the creditors and debtors analysis for the clients 
• Reconciling multiple clients bank accounts
• Manipulating excel files to upload onto the accounting software (Sage) 
• Being able to work on ad hoc projects when required (i.e. calling insurance companies, calling importing and exporting companies, calling VAT companies).  
• Understanding ledger accounts such as overheads, liabilities, direct costs, income etc

Requirements: 

• Recently qualified CIMA/SAIPA/SAICA qualified professionals
