Dynamic, asset management client’s operations team seeks a passionate young investment analyst profile, with a stellar academic record and passion for financial markets to join their team. This role will not only be exposed to research and analysis but also understanding the industry and investment-related issues through research and analysis. Responsibilities

  • Asset Management related industry experience, products and portfolios for local and global markets.
  • Preparing of high-quality presentations and due diligence reports
  • Respond to client or team consultant requests on performance, strategy, regulatory issues etc.
  • Research analysis and ad hoc research and support to the team
  • Collaborate on ad hoc projects to improve processes in the team as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of a complete tertiary qualification in the field of finance, economics, actuarial science, accounting, maths /stats or similar
  • 0-2 years experience within financial services or asset management
  • Must have a stellar academic track record
  • Highly analytical and numerical
  • High attention to detail and natural curiosity
  • Ability to research and collate data
  • PC literacy, with a focus on MSExcel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Good team player, who enjoys working within a strong, dynamic team
