Job Description

Well-respected fund services client's transfer agency team seeks a Client Service Consultant to join them. This role has a focus on the client onboarding function.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage client onboarding process, account creation for individuals and legal entities 
  • Verify DocFox authorised daily, and necessary FICA requirements met before loading investor 
  • Verify client accounts are approved, authorised in Docfox 
  • Investigate outstanding documents with Client, provide Clients with regular feedback
  • Create new clients and update all tags 
  • Correctly capture all regulatory classifications (FATC, OECD, ASISA, SARB)
  • Correctly capture all tax classifications (DWT, IWT) ensure clients tax details are recorded 
  • Ensure daily individual checklist are updated by administrators and handed to Team Leader for final sign-off
  • Liaise with compliance and Internal audit, ensure adherence to FICA RMCP
  • Review and submit all High-Risk clients to Compliance 
  • Review static data change requests, perform relevant client call backs to verify changes
  • Implement and maintain process controls using workflow management
  • Ensure all items have relevant comments for audit purposes and escalate aged items
  • Ensure there is no aged items in individual queues
  • Review all current clients and amend if FICA requirements are not met

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification preferred, minimum of Matric
  • Must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role relating to client onboarding
  • Previous exposure to  applicable legislation
  • Previous experience with reconciliations in the Manco to Inflow & Outflow accounts
  • Strong Excel skills
