Be the payroll pro who keeps the engine running across a fast-paced, people-first retail group. We’re looking for a detail-driven Payroll Specialist to join my clients HR team within an innovative retail industry.

What you’ll be doing:
- Process salaries, overtime, commissions, leave, and bonuses accurately & on time
- Maintain employee data contracts, banking, leave, etc.
- Upload and verify timesheets, leave forms, and ESS submissions
- Handle garnishee orders, payslip distribution, and UIF submissions
- Submit monthly payroll reports to Finance, HR, and statutory bodies
- Support with employee queries, confirmations, and benefits admin
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partner on IR and wellness initiatives
- Ensure up-to-date policies and support DoL and COIDA reporting
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced with 3–5 years in payroll, with 1–2 years HR admin exposure
- Systems-savvy and strong on Sage Payroll and Excel (intermediate+)
- Analytical and has a strong eye for detail and confident with reconciliations
- People-focused, a clear communicator, approachable, and professional
- Resilient and thrives under pressure and manages priorities with ease
- Reliable and owns their deadlines, keeps things confidential, and gets things done
