We’re looking for a sharp, detail-loving Junior Accountant to join a dynamic advertising and production company based in Johannesburg. If you’ve got a head for numbers and a passion for getting things right, this could be your next move.

What the role is about
You’ll take ownership of core accounting processes — from invoicing and reconciliations to managing ledgers and VAT. It’s a hands-on role with great exposure to the workings of a vibrant, high-energy industry.

What you’ll be doing

• Process supplier invoices and manage production cost of sales
• Prepare customer quotations and invoices
• Reconcile bank transactions and manage accounts (current, debit, money market)
• Maintain key schedules: insurance, fixed assets, production, and subscriptions
• Oversee VAT reconciliations and prepare VAT 201 submissions
• Handle debtors, monthly depreciation, and chart of accounts updates

What we’re looking for

• National Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• 3–5 years of solid bookkeeping experience
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Xero is a plus
• Detail-oriented, organised, and confident with numbers
• Experience in advertising or production is advantageous
