Bookkeeping till balance sheet | On-Site | Southern Suburbs, Cape Town

Our client is a privately-owned property development and management group with decades of experience and a solid portfolio of assets. They are looking for a group Bookkeeper who shares their values of accuracy, reliability, and accountability.

What the role is about:
This is a full-function bookkeeping role that covers the financial operations of multiple entities, including companies, trusts, and non-profits. You’ll manage property-related finances, support monthly reporting, and ensure the numbers are clean, complete, and on time.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage tenant and creditor accounts across ±300 leases 
  • Process council bills, levies, and ad-hoc payments for sectional title units
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with audit packs
  • Maintain intercompany loan accounts and process rental-related transactions
  • Support the team with accurate cash flow projections and reconciliations
  • Handle payroll (VIP Premier), deposit refunds, and statutory submissions

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven bookkeeping skills to balance sheet 
  • Strong PASTEL (Sage) and Excel experience is not negotiable 
  • Exposure to property software (e.g. Noftal, MDA, WeconnectU) advatageous 
  • Background in property or multi-entity environments highly beneficial
  • Someone reliable, efficient, and able to work independently under pressure
  • Must be happy with on-site work (7:15 AM start) and a traditional office setup
