A fast-growing energy solutions company is on the hunt for a detail-obsessed, proactive Financial Accountant to join their Northern Suburbs-based team. What the role is about:
You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations, from reconciliations and reporting to driving accuracy in processes and data. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who loves structure, thrives under pressure, and has a sharp eye for detail.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing daily cashbook, credit card, and bank reconciliations
• Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing
• Handling month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing VAT submissions and supporting audit processes
• Maintaining fixed assets and managing intercompany transactions
• Liaising with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to resolve account queries

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
• 2–4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience 
• High level of accuracy, reliability, and initiative
• A great communicator and natural problem-solver
• Must be based in Cape Town (onsite role in the Northern Suburbs)
