What the role’s all about:

You’ll be the financial backbone for key operational teams, providing strategic insight, rigorous financial reporting and sound decision support. From guiding annual planning cycles to evaluating new store investments, your work will help drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead financial support for Store Ops, Property and HR teams, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Build transparent business partnerships to ensure budget adherence and value creation.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual reporting with variance analysis and action planning.
• Oversee planning and forecasting cycles with balanced financial insight.
• Manage a motivated finance team, driving high performance and quality output.
• Evaluate new store feasibilities and acquisitions and support business case development.

What we’re looking for:

• CA(SA) qualification with 10+ years' finance experience, retail sector experience will be a distinct advantage
• Proven leadership skills and ability to influence across functions.
• Strong accounting and analytical capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and BI tools (SAP ideal).
• Proactive, resilient and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
