Job Description
As Group CFO, you’ll partner with the CEO and Board to lead all aspects of financial strategy, performance, and governance across a diverse, multi-country group. You’ll oversee finance, investment, and digital systems teams — bringing structure, insight, and investor confidence as the business scales.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Driving group-wide financial strategy, budgeting, and capital planning
- Leading investor relations, fundraising (debt/equity), and capital structuring
- Overseeing consolidated reporting, treasury, and tax compliance across jurisdictions
- Championing digital transformation in finance — from ERP to analytics platforms
- Embedding robust governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
- Mentoring and developing finance teams across four countries
What we’re looking for:
- CA(SA) or equivalent with 8+ years post-articles, including senior leadership roles
- Proven CFO experience with Board-level influence and strategic oversight
- Track record in asset-heavy, infrastructure, or multi-entity operations
- Expertise in cross-border, multi-currency environments and fund finance
- Hands-on experience with digital finance systems (NAV/Business Central, Power BI)
- Strong communicator with a strategic mindset and high attention to detail
