About the Role
As Payroll Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person ensuring every employee is paid accurately and on time. This full-time, on-site role based in Mowbray, Cape Town, offers the chance to work closely with HR and Finance in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll runs.
Maintain precise records of hours worked, pay rates, deductions, and benefits.
Calculate salaries, bonuses, and other payments accurately.
Ensure compliance with tax and labour legislation.
Resolve employee payroll queries efficiently and confidentially.
Reconcile payroll reports and assist with year-end tax submissions.
What We’re Looking For
Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential).
A relevant certificate or diploma in Accounting, HR, or Payroll.
1–3 years’ experience in payroll or accounting.
Proficiency in payroll systems and tax regulations.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively.
