Location - Constantia, Cape Town (Primarily Office-Based with Flexibility)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversee the work of a Junior Financial Accountant
• Owning and maintaining Order and Financial Databases with full data integrity
• Converting operational data into invoice-ready packs with supporting documentation
• Managing supplier, transporter, fuel, port, and client reconciliations
• Preparing weekly operational performance reports (tonnage, cost per ton, margins)
• Producing monthly financial reports including cash flow, debtors aging, and payables
• Monitoring FX rates and tracking impact on margins and transactions
• Supporting Board and EXCO reporting with structured financial packs
• Identifying process gaps and driving reporting improvements

What We’re Looking For:

• BCom Accounting / Finance (Honours advantageous)
• Articles / Part articles advantageous
• Strong Excel skills (essential) and comfort working with financial databases
• Experience in financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
• Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or operational finance (advantageous)
• Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and process-driven
• Comfortable working independently in a small, high-responsibility team
