A well-established and growing business is looking for a confident, detail-driven Accountant to join their finance team. Known for operational excellence and steady growth, this business offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership while playing a key role in supporting new ventures and expansion projects.

What this role is about:

You’ll take responsibility for managing financial records across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and meaningful reporting. From inventory accounting to monthly management accounts, you’ll provide the insights that guide strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
  • Maintain accurate financial records in line with IFRS
  • Manage inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, and costing
  • Oversee general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Handle VAT and other statutory returns
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and new business initiatives
  • Lead and manage bookkeeping staff to ensure accurate monthly processing

What we're looking for:

  • BComm in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional certification (SAIPA, SAIBA, CIMA or similar advantageous)
  • 5 years’ experience, including inventory and management accounts
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and ERP system experience 
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently
