Job Description

Audit Trainees sought for a professional accounting and advisory team based in Stellenbosch. Whether you’re a first year or third year, or possibly even recently signed off and looking to continue an opportunity within audit, we want to hear from you. What you will be doing:

  • Participate in external audit engagements
  • Conduct independent reviews
  • Assist with financial statement preparation
  • Provide accounting support and services to clients
  • Contribute to tax compliance and advisory projects
  • Assist with company secretarial services
  • Support forensic accounting assignments
  • Work on trusts and estates matters
  • Contribute to business advisory engagements
  • Build and maintain professional client relationships
  • Develop technical accounting knowledge and professional skills through practical experience

What we are looking for:

  • BCom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
  • Completed or currently completing a SAICA-accredited CTA, PGDA or Honours qualification
  • Intention to complete a SAICA Training Contract
  • Strong academic record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's licence advantageous
