FULLY REMOTE CONTRACT available for a technically sound CA(SA), AGA(SA) or SAICA Articled Accountant - we're open to the right level for the right person.

As a Financial Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of entities, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and insight-driven financial analysis. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys both technical accounting and problem-solving in a dynamic setting.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting for a portfolio of entities in your jurisdiction
- Prepare and review complex transactions including acquisitions, disposals, refinancing and build-to-suit deals
- Reconcile third-party financial statements against the company's own books and records
- Analyse and book intercompany and related-party transactions
- Handle AP invoice coding, VAT, real estate tax and tenant recharge calculations
- Prepare balance sheet analyses and income statement variance commentary for closing packs
- Own local GAAP or IFRS financial statement preparation and support statutory audits
- Contribute to forecasting, ad hoc reporting for Legal, Treasury and Asset Management, and ongoing process improvement
What we’re looking for:
- AGA(SA), CA(SA), partially CA(SA) qualified or SAICA Articled with experience
- 0–3 years’ experience post-Articles
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Experience in US GAAP advantageous
- Experience working with multiple entities or international structures
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setup
- Must be AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY
