Job Description

My client, a leading financial services company, is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team. The ideal individual will be a qualified CA(SA) with a minimum of 2 years post articles experience, with financial services experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Financial Reporting
• Oversee management and statutory financial reporting, including consolidations
• Ensure comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date financial records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Handle Tax and VAT compliance processes
• Lead and coordinate specific financial initiatives and projects throughout the year
• Manage stakeholder relationships, focusing on business strategy
• Direct and manage the budgeting process

Requirements

• CA(SA)
• Minimum of 2+ years post articles experience
• Consolidations experience is essential
• Understanding of IFRS9 is advantageous
• Financial Services experience is essential
