Job Description
My client, a leading financial services company, is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team. The ideal individual will be a qualified CA(SA) with a minimum of 2 years post articles experience, with financial services experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Financial Reporting
- Oversee management and statutory financial reporting, including consolidations
- Ensure comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date financial records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards
- Handle Tax and VAT compliance processes
- Lead and coordinate specific financial initiatives and projects throughout the year
- Manage stakeholder relationships, focusing on business strategy
- Direct and manage the budgeting process
Requirements
- CA(SA)
- Minimum of 2+ years post articles experience
- Consolidations experience is essential
- Understanding of IFRS9 is advantageous
- Financial Services experience is essential
