Calling all qualified CA(SA) professionals to join a dynamic NGO leader in shaping financial strategies for funded projects in Cape Town. My client seeks a meticulous Finance Manager with razor-sharp problem-solving skills, organisational flair, and expertise in compliance-driven reporting. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage project bookkeeping including cashbook processing and journals
• Ensure preparation of bank reconciliations and reviews
• Provide oversight and compliance on project debit cards, staff debtors and expense claims
• Provide financial management support to programme directors
• Review and release electronic payments and transfers
• Manage completeness and accuracy of the fixed asset register
• Manage overall responsibility of the financial management / trial balance as allocated
• Ensure accurate accounting for VAT
• Manage overall responsibility for the preparation and execution of all funds related audits
• Assist with preparation and execution of statutory audits
• Manage and ensure adequate cash-flow management
• Manage and ensure loan account and inter account transfers are done
• Manage all monthly expense claims and financial reporting are prepared and submitted on time 
• Ensure all reports are reconciled to the underlying financial system
• Maintain and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure high level plans are communicated and assigned to the team
• Engage in the performance review process 

Requirements:

• CA (SA) qualification
• Minimum of 2 years post articles experience outside of an auditing environment
