Job Description
Unique opportunity to join a diverse retail business as a Group Financial Manager. This individual needs to be technically strong, have the ability to get involved operationally and strategically and support the management team.
Requirements:
- Prepare and review monthly consolidated management accounts, variance analysis
- Liaise with Directors to review monthly financial results
- Put together detailed weekly Financial-Operational report
- Prepare annual consolidation pack
- Draft annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS Standards
- Manage annual budget process
- Verify all forecasts are regularly updated
- Present Capex budgets and project budget reports
- Responsible for co-ordinating and managing budgeting process and prepare final budget submission, liaising with management
- Manage all statutory submissions, VAT, EMP, income tax, provisional tax etc
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage group's cash flows
- Review and approve payments, including EFTs
Requirements:
- Must be a CA(SA)
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience
- Strong IFRS Accounting Standards experience including group consolidations South African Income Tax and VAT
- Strong leadership ability
- Good time management skills
- Client focused
