Passionate about data analytics, financial modelling, and the future of renewable energy? A dynamic and fast-growing energy aggregation and trading business is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a junior candidates who is eager to learn, but also willing to some monotonous tasks at first in order build their career. In this cross-functional role, you’ll support the Data Analyst with data integrity, pricing model enhancements, and business insights reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Support the compilation and analysis of data for customer pricing proposals and management reporting
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing customer pricing models
• Assist in creating data visualisations to effectively communicate insights
• Work collaboratively within and across multi-disciplinary teams
• Provide support on projects involving large and/or incomplete datasets
• Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and key issues within complex data sets
• Help build, update, and optimise dashboards for stakeholder insights
• Support data management tasks related to budgeting and financial reporting
• Conduct research on electricity market trends to aid business decision-making
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements and market developments 
• Assist in automating data management processes and contribute to product development

Requirements: 

• A degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related qualification 
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in energy markets, trading, finance, or a related field
• Analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar tools (advantageous)
