Responsibilities:

• Contribute to and implement financial strategy
• Assist with business plan and forecasts
• Manage commercial reviews of projects and incentives
• Manage financial modelling of new business initiatives
• Interpret business requirements and translate them into analytical reporting
• Manage implementation of controls, data analysis, testing of data flow/financial transactions
• Analyse business, financial and general operating information 
• Provide advice to management on financial reporting processes
• Manage and oversee projects that will improve operating efficiency and profits
• Identify and remediate areas where inefficiencies may occur and implement resolution
• Deliver presentations tailored to meet the understanding of the target audience
• Analyse financial and general operating information identifying trends and opportunities 
• Analyse and monitor the effect of budget or policy changes on productivity
• Perform analytical reviews, trend analysis and reconciliations of various accounts
• Ensure tax, legislative and statutory requirements are met
• Manage service delivery through a team of managers
• Develop managers and specialists under supervision

Requirements:

• CA(SA) or qualified Actuary
• Post-graduate qualification in Business Management or Project Management (advantageous)
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in Financial Services
• Preference given to Employment Equity applications
