Join a diverse investment group with business interest spanning various industries across Africa. In this role, you’ll act as a key contributor in applying data analysis to drive improvements across financial operations and reporting. Working within a group-level finance setting, your insights will help improve performance, support smarter decision-making, and contribute to increased value for stakeholders. Your work will focus on refining processes, minimizing exposure to risk, and enhancing the overall efficiency of how financial outcomes are delivered.

Note - this role is onsite based in Sandton.

What you will do:

• Design and deploy analytical models to uncover patterns and meaningful trends from internal datasets, supporting evidence-based business planning
• Build dynamic data visualizations that clearly represent key metrics, helping stakeholders recognize patterns and make informed long-term decisions
• Produce tailored analytical summaries that deliver actionable insights into business operations, highlighting potential areas for optimization and expansion
• Evaluate potential data risks within systems and processes and propose practical solutions to reduce exposure and enhance data integrity
• Apply quantitative analysis and financial forecasting techniques to aid in strategic budgeting and investment choices

What you will bring:

• Relevant Bachelor's degree in business analytics or finance
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role with Big 4 exposure a plus
• Strong BI skills and experience
• Relevant certifications in data analytics or similar will be advantageous

Your Strengths:

• Skills in applications such as Query, Power Automate, Power Pivot, and PowerBI, with proficiency in VBA, Python, SQL, and DAX coding
• Experience with SMSS for database management and manipulation
• Familiarity with accounting/ERP/POS package
• Expert skills in Excel Macros for diverse purposes
