Our client is expanding its operations and seeking a Project Finance Manager to provide essential financial oversight and ensure smooth running of internal finance functions. - Taking ownership of day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities within the group
- Processing and reviewing monthly invoices, reconciliations, payments, and payroll
- Preparing monthly management accounts and assisting with consolidations
- Supporting preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Managing SARS correspondence (VAT, company tax submissions, compliance matters)
- Overseeing cashflow and monitoring internal controls
- Ensuring accurate and confidential handling of salaries, internal expenses, and client billing
- Assisting with year-end audits and external reporting requirements
- Newly qualified CA(SA) or equivalent (CIMA/AGA(SA) considered).
- 0–2 years post-articles accounting/finance experience (financial services, asset management, or fund accounting exposure advantageous)
- Strong technical foundation in accounting, IFRS, and tax compliance
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity
- Independent worker who is also a strong team player
- Proficiency in accounting systems (Sage, Xero, Draftworks, or similar) and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
