About the opportunity:

This is more than a finance role, it’s about shaping the future of three business units. You’ll be a trusted advisor to the Divisional MD with a dotted line to the Group FCO and a key player in driving profitability, commercial governance, cashflow optimisation, and sustainable growth. You'll also lead finance transformation, project initiatives, and compliance across this diverse portfolio.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and execute the financial strategy aligned with group goals
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across BUs
• Oversee financial reporting, compliance (IFRS, VAT, PAYE), audits, and controls
• Optimise cashflow, working capital, and banking structures (including Forex)
• Ensure commercial governance: pricing, tenders, contracts, and deal structuring
• Champion financial systems, automation, and continuous improvement
• Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team across the cluster

What we're looking for:

• CA(SA)
• 10+ years’ senior financial management experience in an operational role
• Strong leadership
• Proven commercial acumen – pricing, tenders, margin optimisation
• Advanced Excel, ERP systems, and project/lean methodologies
• Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills
