What you will be doing: 

• Preparing and reviewing high‑quality balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensuring reconciliations align seamlessly with financial statements
• Working with a full set of financials to identify inconsistencies or irregularities
• Collaborating daily with the US accounting team for reviews and issue resolution
• Identifying inefficiencies in the month‑end close process
• Challenging unusual balances and recommending workflow and control enhancements

What we are looking for: 

• Minimum of CIMA / Part CIMA / SAIPA qualified
• Minimum of 8 - 10 years experience within an accounting firm
• Strong experience in month‑end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Solid understanding of how reconciliations feed into financial statements
• Ability to analyse full financials, identify inconsistencies between balance sheet, supporting schedules and reported results
• Experience with Sage Intacct (strong preference), NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle NetSuite, Xero
• Analytical mindset and committed to delivering on deadlines
• Comfortable working with partial overlap to US working hours daily
• Ability to collaborate and challenge differences or discrepancies as required and recommend improvements to strengthen workflows
