An established manufacturing business is looking for a hands-on Cost Accountant to join their team on-site. This role goes far beyond reporting numbers, it’s about working closely with operations, identifying inefficiencies, improving processes, and driving real impact across the business.

You’ll be in the thick of it. On the floor. In the detail. In the conversations that matter.

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking ownership of the full costing function across a busy manufacturing environment
• Analysing costs, margins, and variances to support better decision-making
• Working closely with production and operations teams to understand processes and identify improvements
• Managing inventory, stock counts, and production-related reporting
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting across the business
• Driving process improvements and efficiency initiatives
• Contributing to reporting packs and operational insights

What we’re looking for:

• BCom Accounting / CIMA (or in progress)
• 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (this is essential)
• Strong understanding of costing, BOMs, and variance analysis
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Someone who is naturally curious, proactive, and solutions-driven
