Job Description

What you will be doing:

  • Prepare and present monthly budget variance reports for management and client meetings
  • Compile and distribute comprehensive monthly management packs, including arrears and supplier reports
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of accounting data within the property management system
  • Oversee annual budgeting processes, ensuring accurate forecasting and landlord approval
  • Support tenant, landlord, and contractor financial queries and collections processes
  • Monitor lease accuracy, billing terms, escalations, and conduct periodic audits
  • Manage recoveries, including utilities and municipal charges, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payments
  • Act as a key accounting liaison for landlords and support broader property management activities

What we are looking for:

  • Qualification in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in property management accounting
  • Strong experience in commercial property accounting including leases, recoveries, and tenant billing
  • Proven experience in budgeting, management accounts, and variance analysis
  • Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., MDA) and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail, financial control mindset, and deadline-driven work ethic
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
