My client currently seeks an experienced Finance Manager to join their team for a unique opportunity to combine your financial expertise with impact.
This role seeks a versatile and detail-oriented Finance Manager to take ownership of financial operations of both their non-profit organisations and associated for-profit entities. What you will be doing:

  • Act as a strategic financial partner to leadership, supporting long-term sustainability
  • Prepare and manage financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports
  • Develop, monitor and track budgets and forecasts aligned with organisational goals
  • Manage grants, donations and funding compliance, including donor reporting
  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, collections and donation tracking
  • Ensure tax compliance across NPO and for-profit entities
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements including SARS Section 30 and 18A
  • Oversee payroll processing, tax withholdings and benefits administration
  • Prepare for and support audit processes
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance practices
  • Manage insurance and related administrative requirements
  • Handle company secretarial duties, statutory records and board reporting
  • Monitor and report on financial performance across multiple entities
  • Lead and develop a small finance team, driving accountability and performance

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or equivalent
  • 5–10 years relevant finance experience
  • Completed SAICA articles / SAIPA or CIMA accreditation advantageous
  • Experience engaging with auditors and tax authorities 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage products
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
