Are you a CA(SA) with 1–2 years’ commercial experience who is ready for greater exposure, more ownership and the opportunity to take the next step in your finance career?

This is an opportunity to join an established, fast-paced business where finance is closely connected to the day-to-day operation. We’re looking for someone who has built a strong technical foundation but now wants to deepen their commercial experience, get closer to the numbers and continue developing towards broader financial management responsibility.

Working closely with senior finance leadership, you’ll have exposure across the accounting function while playing an active role in month-end, financial controls, audit, problem-solving and the continued development and implementation of accounting systems.

What you'll be getting involved in:

• Supporting the month-end close and preparation of financial information
• Reviewing balance sheet and general ledger accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Preparing journals, reconciliations and cashbook analysis
• Investigating financial discrepancies and ensuring accurate processing
• Supporting audit requirements, schedules and queries
• Managing payment preparation, controls and releases
• Assisting with account analysis and finance-related reporting
• Contributing to the development, testing and implementation of accounting systems
• Working collaboratively across finance and operational teams

What we're looking for:

CA(SA) is essential.

Ideally, you'll have around 1–2 years' post-articles experience, with exposure gained in industry or a similarly fast-paced commercial environment.

More importantly, we're looking for someone who is analytical, curious and confident enough to question what doesn't make sense. You enjoy getting into the detail, solving problems and taking ownership rather than simply completing a checklist.

You'll be comfortable working in an environment where deadlines matter, priorities can shift and teamwork is important. You'll also bring the confidence to work independently while remaining open to learning, feedback and continued development.
