My client, based in Century City, is looking for an experienced Group Finance Manager to join their dynamic team within a complex financial environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance leader who can balance the detail of reporting and compliance with the bigger picture of financial strategy and business performance.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing monthly management packs, consolidated group reporting and quarterly financial reports
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital and financial performance management
• Managing month-end processes, year-end audit packs and relationships with external auditors
• Ensuring compliance with SARS, FSCA and statutory requirements, including VAT, PAYE and EMP501 submissions
• Strengthening financial controls, identifying risks and driving cost and efficiency improvements
• Leading, mentoring and developing the finance team while engaging with key external and internal stakeholders

What they’re looking for

• CA(SA) with 5+ years’ experience in financial management, consolidations and group reporting
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and South African tax law
• Excellent analytical, financial modelling, leadership and stakeholder-management skills
• FinTech exposure, multi-currency reporting, international tax experience and Xero proficiency would be advantageous
