Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies
• Oversee all financial operations including accounting 
• Lead and mentor the finance team
• Manage the preparation of financial statements, monthly management accounts and other reports
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions
• Identify and mitigate financial risks

Requirements:

• CA(SA) qualification – preferred 
• Min of 5 years post articles experience
• BCom degree in accounting or related field
• Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role
• Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis business intelligence and forecasting methods
• Proficient in the use of financial management software
