Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Junior Accountant to join a growing business with different entities in the retail and services sectors. You would need to have a completed finance degree and bring with you five years of similar experience. If you enjoy an environment that’s busy and growing, give me a shout! 

Responsibilities:

• Document financial transactions 
• Process and perform daily reconciliations 
• Process and perform monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts
• Prepare payments 
• Analyse and investigating annual and monthly financial accounts
• Maintain the administrative tasks associated with the accounting function
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems

Requirements:

• BCom degree in Financial Management, Accounting or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the finance department
• Experience with Pastel Evolution advantageous
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Excel
• Accurate Data capturing and attention to detail
