What the Role Is About

As Country Manager, you’ll act as the senior leader in Angola, responsible for stabilising, structuring, and scaling a fast-growing operation. You’ll balance governance with growth — ensuring the business is compliant, commercially sound, and built for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all in-country operations with full P&L accountability
  • Establish strong financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks
  • Manage legal, tax, and regulatory requirements in Angola
  • Build and scale a structured, high-performing local team
  • Strengthen relationships with government, regulators, and key clients
  • Drive sustainable growth while maintaining operational excellence

What We’re Looking For

  • Portuguese and / or French speaking - non-negotiable
  • 10–15 years’ experience, with exposure to executive leadership (e.g. COO, CFO, MD level)
  • Background in industrial sectors (oil & gas, engineering, mining, construction)
  • Strong financial and governance expertise (CA(SA) highly preferred) with additional business studies
  • Proven experience operating across African markets
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Diplomatic, culturally aware leader with strong emotional intelligence
