My client, a well-known retail giant, is looking for an experience Financial Manager - Forex to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Chartered Accountant who enjoys combining technical excellence with strategic thinking in a fast-paced retail environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Forex FM, you'll take ownership of the organisation's foreign exchange portfolio, ensuring effective currency risk management while supporting buying teams with competitive costing rates. Your work will help protect profitability, strengthen financial controls and enable better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage foreign currency exposure through effective forward cover buying and hedge accounting.
• Oversee foreign exchange reporting, reconciliation's and month-end financial processes.
• Forecast the financial impact of exchange rate movements and support annual budgeting.
• Monitor market trends and economic developments to optimise forex strategies.
• Ensure compliance with forex policies, regulatory requirements, and financial controls.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and banking partners to deliver efficient forex solutions and continuous process improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified CA(SA) with at least 3 years' post experience.
• Experience in financial and management reporting, ideally within a retail or commercial environment.
• Strong knowledge of foreign exchange, hedge accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, Google Workspace and advanced MS Excel.
• A commercially astute, detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical, planning, and stakeholder management skills who thrives under pressure.
