An exciting opportunity for a detail‑driven Accountant to play a key role in ensuring accurate financial accounting, reporting, and operational excellence within a dynamic financial services team.

What you will be doing:

• Process weekly cashbooks for local and foreign accounts; perform bank reconciliations
• Manage weekly revenue processing and monthly debtor reconciliations
• Liaise with the commissions department to resolve related queries
• Prepare bi‑monthly supplier payment schedules and review creditor reconciliations
• Execute payments on the banking platform
• Process monthly payroll and collaborate with the payroll department on issues
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts
• Maintain and update monthly budgets
• Prepare monthly management accounts and handle related queries
• Respond to internal and external stakeholder requests and queries
• Assist with projects and annual audit pack preparation

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional qualification (SAICA, ACCA, CIMA) – advantageous
• 3–5 years’ experience in a financial accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards
• High accuracy, strong analytical skills, and solid problem‑solving ability
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
