Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day payroll related activities and processing of all payrolls
- Manage onboarding of new employees and termination administration
- Oversee leave management
- Oversee ESS management including ESS training of new employees
- Manage and prepare distribution of payslips
- Maintain employee files
- Prepare third party payments and processing thereof
- Complete weekly and monthly payroll control account recons
- Prepare month-end reports and payments
- Create standard and ad hoc reports
- Responsible for all tax related activities and compliance status
- Responsible for e-filing submissions
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (payroll advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a full payroll function
- Minimum of 3 years’ SAGE 300 payroll experience is a requirement
- Experience with payroll control account reconciliation essential
- Experience with Time and Attendance systems required
- Skilled and up to date knowledge of the latest payroll and tax legislation
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel intermediate level
- Ability to keep confidential information to yourself
